Zoë Komarin Food curator, mom, Party thrower
With 16+ years in food, Zoë founded NYTimes heralded Cafe Xoho, and her LA based pop-ups and events are beloved by both Eater and LA Times alike. Now, as the creative force behind The Food Party she is known for her passion for elevating seasonal ingredients and fostering community through food. Inspired by her love of hands-on learning and improvisation, Zoe created Zoe Food Party to bring people together over shared experiences and extraordinary meals.
I call myself a food curator because the title of chef feels too formal and limiting. While I do of course cook food, the act of making a meal has always meant so much more to me than the that. - Zoë Komarin
MouthBrain, the term Zoë invented to desribe that magical link between food and memory, is at the core of all that she does. Asking people to step inside their mouthbrains and allow their memories to serve as inspiration.
